  39. DESCRIPTION
  40.   FDB2 is a full replacement for FDB.
  41.   If you don┤t know what FDB does, read the docs.

  43.   OPTIONS
  44.  
  45.    PATTERN
  46.     This is a standard AmigaDOS search pattern. It determines what FDB will search for.
  47.    
  48.    DBASEDIR
  49.     Selects the directory where databases reside in.
  50.     Default is "DEVS:".
  51.  
  52.    MPATH
  53.     If a path is given with this option, only files with a matching path will be
  54.     displayed. This pattern is expected to be "EXACT". If you want all files in
  55.     "Work:Tools/" you should type MPATH "Work:Tools/#?".
  56.     Default is "#?". 
  57.    
  58.    EXACT
  59.     Show only exact matches of the given pattern.
  60.     If EXACT is not specified, the pattern parameter "adospattern" is
  61.     expanded to "#?adospattern#?" so it matches entries that contain
  62.     the given pattern.
  63.     Default is OFF.

  65.    CASESENSITIVE
  66.     If specified, search is case sensitive, otherwise not.
  67.     Default is OFF.

  70.     Show only matching directory names.

  75.     Specifying both FILES and DIRS ends up in displaying all.

  79.     Show only first match, stop afterwards.

  83.     Take all files in DBASEDIR ending with ".codes" and use them as
  84.     databases for searching.
  85.     This option overrides the DATABASE option.

  89.     Don┤t show any headers.
  90.     Default is OFF.

  92.    NOPATH
  93.     Don┤t show paths of matching entries.
  94.     This does not apply do found directories.

  98.     This simply does nothing. It is only for compatibility with FDB.

  101.     Use the current options as defaults and store them in "ENV:FDB2.prefs".

  105.     Defines the database that will be searched.
  106.     Databases have to be placed in the DBASEDIR.
  107.     The standard suffix ".codes" is required. But you don┤t have to type it.
